Betty Lou’s was created from a love for homemade baking, meaningful connection, and bringing a little extra light into everyday moments. What started as sharing cookies with friends, offices, and local businesses became a way to brighten people’s days through simple homemade treats.
Our theme, “Baked to Brighten,” is inspired by Matthew 5:16:
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
That verse is at the heart of Betty Lou’s. Whether it’s cookies for a vendor appreciation, birthday, office meeting, or just because, the goal is always to create something thoughtful that brings joy to others.
Betty Lou’s is named after my grandmother, and the Dutch doll in our logo was inspired by a handmade quilt created by my Great Aunt Wendy using pieces of my grandmother Betty Lou’s clothing. The logo reflects the nostalgic, homemade feeling behind everything we create.
Every order is baked homemade with care, with the hope that something simple and sweet can brighten someone’s day.
